"A Mighty Heart" is the sad story of New York journalist Daniel Pearl and his wife Mariane. He was kidnapped in Pakistan in 2002 by terrorists, because he is Jewish, American and a journalist.

His French journalist wife, Mariane, pregnant with their child, undertook a massive, distressing search to find her missing husband.

As most of you know, based on news reports, Pearl was viciously killed. The film showed the various conspiracy theories that abounded regarding who killed him.

An extremist in the film blamed the Jews, the Israel Mossad, for the WTC bombing, even claiming the 4,000 Jews that work in the building were absent that day and that somehow had something to do with Pearl's murder.

While, a man in the Pakistani government blamed the Indian government, stating they kidnapped and killed Pearl to make them look bad.

At the end of the day, an innocent man was brutally murdered and beheaded, with his body cut into ten pieces. That is barbarism.

People really need to put their differences aside and not resort to violence to make a point. The inhumanity of it is terrible.

The movie was nicely filmed and very engaging. The end brought tears to my eyes. The closing shot of mother and son, Mariane and Adam, walking down the street, while the song "In A Manner Of Speaking" played was very moving.
