"Elf" starring Will Ferrell is the story of a man, Buddy, who actually believes he is one of Santa’s elves, due to accidentally having ended up in the North Pole as a baby. When he discovers he is not an Elf, Buddy leaves the North Pole to meet his father, who lives in New York City and is on Santa's naughty list.

"Elf" was a mildly amusing film. It had its funny moments and nice Christmas decorations, which is pleasant to look at regarding the season. However, it has gross out moments I don't care for, which trivialized the film somewhat. I also prefer Christmas movies with a spiritual theme.
