Sony's "Mall Cop" is a massive rip-off of the 1980's film "Die Hard" by 20th Century Fox. Why is Sony so unoriginal and unentertaining.

"Mall Cop" is unquestionably one of the stupidest movies I've ever had the displeasure of viewing. I could not believe how ridiculous this film was at various points.

Forget that - this was not a film - it was a movie. A waste of celluloid. An artistically bankrupt piece of nonsense that made no sense. Just in case you can't tell, I didn't like this movie.

I dislike it when people unlawfully capitalize on others hard work, especially when they moronically devalue and reduce it to hot, steaming junk.

The similarities include a large gray colored building taken hostage by a group of technologically savvy men, first mistaken for some sort of terror group, the Feds set up shop outside, while a loan cop inside the building under siege takes out the bad guys one by one. That ladies and gentlemen is the plot for "Die Hard" but dumber in "Mall Cop."

The lead character is whiny, wimpy and witless beyond belief. They must have modeled him on Sony C.E.O. Howard Stringer - they even look alike.

Howard Stringer

If you are a mall cop, this movie would not make you proud. It would make you revaluate your career choice, when your job is actually needed to keep shoppers safe.
