"Man Of Steel" is the latest  installment in the long running "Superman" franchise. "Man Of Steel" returns to the origins of Superman, also known as Kal-El, from the time of his birth on Krypton. It also covers his years on earth attempting to blend in with humanity until the evil General Zod from Krypton comes to America in search of him.

Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe did a good job in this film playing Superman's dads (adoptive and birth dad, respectively). It added some warmth to the film. However, the storyline of this film was derivative. The special EFX were also overblown and over the top.
