"The Silver Chalice" was an entertaining film, reminding one of great Bible epics of the past. The acting was on par, the sets elegant and the costumes were beautiful.

The film, starring the late Paul Newman, is about an artist commissioned to create a cup based on the "cup of Christ" and the travails he goes through in undertaking the task.
