The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth, is the second movie in the film series about a fictional fight for food among districts, waged in a battle to the death. Winners Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark pretend to be in love and about to marry, to give hope to the masses, while keeping them in line under terrible, poverty stricken conditions (sounds like American Idol for food).

Catching Fire was full of special efx and enormous amounts of combat, running through an over the top storyline. The costumes are outrageous and quirky, giving a weird feel to the already strange mindset of the ruling classes in this movie. Catching Fire is eerily similar to the preexisting fictional book "The Lottery" making the subsequent book and film series "The Hunger Games" quite derivative.
