"The Making Of A Lady" was a riveting English drama about a young woman, Emily, without money or a title, marrying a wealthy, titled man, James, who is a soldier. The relationship is a genuine one that is endearing, but becomes difficult when he has to return to war, leaving his new bride at home.

Emily is left at his country mansion in the English countryside and here's where things go wrong. James' cousin, Alec and his wife, Hester, show up unexpectedly to stay with Emily in James' absence and are not what they appear. "The Making Of A Lady" was a well-done, interesting movie that I thoroughly enjoyed.
