"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" is the prequel to the film series. Anchored by sci-fi character, Wolverine, who is later accompanied by Professor Charles Xavier and Storm, the film shows the viewer the origins of the X-Men movie series. The film goes back to the 1970s revealing the government's reaction to news there are mutants (X-Men) on earth, branding them a threat. The storyline also involves "Sentinel" technology  and mutant DNA being misused.

"X-Men: Days Of Future Past" was an entertaining film. However, the film is darker than its predecessors and contains more violence. Marvel once again spent huge sums of money making X-Men and the sets and special efx are proof of this fact.
